History of Protestantism is a consequence of the reform movement, the history of Protestantism which occurred in the 16th century. Approximately three centuries, Protestantism spread to the northern part of continental Europe and England, then to North America. Early 20th century, Protestantism spread almost throughout the world. Church reform movement known since Martin Luther (1483-1556) and John Calvin. But there have actually been pre revormasi figures, namely Wyclif in England and John Hus in Buhemia. Beginning of this reform is the publication of Martin Luther's 95 Theses, which is a letter of protest against the practice of selling on the indulgence of doing church. Development of the proposition that ultimately is a "challenge" for the whole system of sacramental-hierarchical-clerical Catholic Church. In his lectures at the University of Wittenberg on the Scripture, he found the fact that
"God is the primary actor in salvation And that allhuman Beings todo is accept God's promised Deliverance"
. At the cross of Jesus, God was reconciling the man "once for all". In 1520, through his writings he explained his position:
a. Salvation by grace through the priest.
b. Authority of Christianity lies in the Scripture, not the ruler of the church.
c. Reduced the number of sacraments, not seven but two only, namely baptism and reception of holy
