Truth is not owned Individuals

Former Chairman of Muhammadiyah Ahmad Syafii Maarif condemned the burning of the Shiite Islamic boarding schools in the District of Coral Penang, Sampang. Especially if the arson was motivated by religious differences.

According to the man who is more familiarly called Buya was, that sort of thing should be stopped. Because the truth is not owned by individuals especially the group. "I think the attitude is not good, there is a monopoly of truth," said Buya

Buya was surprised to anarchistic action because most people think of Shia conflict with Islam. In fact he said, the Shiite sect recognized as the fifth in Islam. "If among the Shiite sect, regarded as a fifth school," he explained.

He also stated that everyone has the right to live even atheists. The most important thing he said, could live in harmony and tolerance. "So such actions must dihentikkan, especially in Sampang are brothers, cook the religious divide," he explained.

He believes the believers who do not anarchistic actions that blessed religion. "I think it's not the kind of authentic religion," pugkasnya.
