Remembering the USS Liberty Tragedy

Remembering the USS Liberty Tragedy

Dated June 8, 1967, U.S. ocean research ship, USS Liberty bombed-out by Israel. At that time there was 6 Day War between Israel against the Arab countries (including Egypt). Israel wanted to sink the Liberty, Egypt blamed for the later, then the U.S. invaded and occupied Egypt. False flag operation from this horrible failure, but remain in history as the submission of evidence of how the U.S. government toward Israel.

Here's an excerpt of the book Obama Revealed (Dina Y. Sulaeman) related to this event:

U.S. President Lyndon B.-36 is Johnson. Previously he was vice president of Kennedy. Because Kennedy died before his term runs out, Johnson is automatically appointed as president. Soon after being sworn in as president, Johnson told an Israeli diplomat, "you have lost a friend who is very unusual [Kennedy], but now you find a better one." Isaiah L. Kenen, one pro-Israel lobbyist of the most influential in Washington said, "I consider that all that he [Johnson] to do as president is in accordance with that statement." [1]

One of the major events in the Johnson era was the bombing of the USS Liberty by Israel in 1967, which killed 34 U.S. troops and wounding 200 others. Surprisingly, President Johnson did not respond to a president should do if there is an innocent warships (not doing any provocation), destroyed by the military forces of other countries.

Prof (em) James Petras in his book, The Power of Israel in USA, commenting on this incident, "Johnson in a historical movement that has never happened before, refused to reply. The Johnson administration also silence those who survived the attack without provocation [U.S. did not provoke] the threat of 'military court'. The next administration no one ever raised the issue, let alone conduct an official investigation in Congress. In fact they increase aid to Israel. They also prepared the use of nuclear weapons as the country seems to be losing the Yom Kippur War of 1972. [2]

To find out more about this event, including transcripts of conversations between President Johnson with the Mossad, as well as the transcript of the Liberty crew with the U.S. military (who refused to bring in relief), as well as the preliminary events, where President Kennedy was opposed to Israel's Dimona nuclear reactor (and soon Kennedy died mysteriously, and then replaced by Johnson),
